There is a terrible side to any country, and a beautiful one as well. Yes there are those issues, but then there is also the beauty of their culture in many aspects, such as the clothing, music, traditions etc. Oh, and Ummmm...I visited there and I wasn't raped or anything and I am whiter than most people (And American) and I had no problems and I stayed in poor hostels, not 5 star hotels. So obviously what you say cannot be 100% true
