I think we all need to work harder on getting people to realize there are more choices than red apples and green apples! Even though the election is over we can continue to spread the word. Thanks for this video.
it doesnt matter who you vote for, in 2010 war with china, 2012 nuclear war.. its over..even if barack is good..they will kill his family if he doesnt obay.. america will lose..china is way stronger than us..please wake up people
good question man
Was 1992 really that long ago ? LOL
Our Green, Libertarian and Constitutionalist Parties all (still) endorse the NOTA campaign.
The problem is their method of support is suggesting people leave their ballots "blank".
I would write N.O.T.A. on the ballot ticket - which is becoming impossible because of e-voting machines.
Of the people that have posed questions you might be the only one old enough to have remembered Ralph Nader's NOTA campain back in the early 90s.
Well IckyThump85 in the states in the south most of them feel like alot of mine do they say "We dont want a nigger in the white house" Which i feel long as their pulling for the working man why not vote for him if he ends up being the one we get
hmmmm but... democrats are coming out in record numbers for obama...
Thanks for the info. Interesting...
John McCain and Hillary Clinton are the two biggest supporters for the conflict in the Middle East. They both receive huge funds from American Weapons Manufacturers.
I refuse to believe that a country where 75% of the population wants us out of Iraq, could allow these people to get this far in a Presidential nomination.
Your reasons for not voting are valid.
If these nominations want to be "legitimate" they must include the option to withhold consent.
No one should be forced to vote for the lesser of two evils.
If None Of The Above were a majority vote we would simply re-start the nomination process.
All re-nominations would begin within the next 60 days, but would not last more than 80 days.
Any candidate who loses to the NOTA vote is not eligible for election to that office for that term.
Current the NOTA usage is counted as a "protest vote" or a "spoilt vote" and does nothing to change the results of an election.
Don't get me wrong here. I was asked who I wanted to see as president in 1972 and I emphatically replied "Nader".
We need a leader now that can get us the fuck out of this heinous war and get Americans to reinvest in ourselves and buy American to raise our dollar standard.
We are at this moment owned by China due to our debt to them, our military is exasparated and China now has umparalled military manpower.
RIGHT ON!! This is why I don't vote! All three presidential candidates (Hilary Obama Mccain) SUCK, and and I'm not going to waste my time voting for the one sane person running (Ron Paul) because the media will never cover him.
I really appreciate your posts.
Our corperate owned two party system is incrementally taking us to levels which we never imagined would happen in our lifetime.
I don't think Nader could this 53 trillion debt we have arouund with the economic policies I've heard him previously espouse.
cont'd.
It'd be pretty funny though. At least we'd get a real chance to dis some politicians.
I'm just shooting from the hip here so I apologize if my question is ignorant. If the NOTA won then would that elected office just remain empty? If it resulted in the person with the next highest number of votes getting the office then the NOTA option seems useless. Good to see you j0e. |
